The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Jamia Millia Islamia University conduct an admission test for admission to Senior Secondary School Certificate (Science) and Diploma in Engineering. This book has been designed for the admission test conducted by the universities for admission to senior secondary school certificate (Hindi) and Diploma in Engineering.The present book for Senior Secondary School Certificate and Diploma in Engineering admission test has been divided into seven sections namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science, English Language, General Knowledge and Indo-Islamic Culture, each sub-divided into number of chapters as per the syllabi of the admission test. The chapters in the book have been designed strictly on the lines of NCERT/CBSE syllabus. The Mathematics section covers Geometry, Trigonometrical, Mensuration, Linear Equations, Quadratic Equations, etc whereas the Physics section covers Measurements, Gravitation, Current Electricity, Heat, Work & Energy, etc. The Chemistry section on the other hand covers Matter, Metals & Non-Metals, Atomic Structure, Chemical Reactions, etc whereas the Life Science section covers Tissues, Life Processes, Heredity & Evolution, Our Environment, Diversity, etc. The English section covers the basics of English language and comprehension and General Knowledge section covers History, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, General Science and miscellaneous facts, figures, etc. Each section in the book covers ample number of solved problems with detailed explanation for in-depth understanding of the concepts on which the questions are based along with a collection of unsolved questions for the purpose of practice. Also a special section covering the Indo-Islamic Culture has also been provided in this book. 2015 Solved Paper of the entrance test has also been provided in the book to help students understand the examination pattern better.As the book has been designed on the lines of the examination pattern of the admission tests, it for sure will help aspirants score high in the upcoming Senior Secondary School Certificate (Science) and Diploma in Engineering Admission Tests.
